Arvind Akela, also known as Kallu, is a well-known Bhojpuri singer and actor who has made a remarkable contribution to the regional entertainment sector. Born on July 26, 1997, in Buxar, Bihar, Kallu was brought up in a middle-class farming family. Since childhood, Kallu had a deep passion for music, taking an active part in different musical programs in his village.
Kallu started his musical career with his first song, "Bolta Muragava Kukddu Kooo," which brought him widespread popularity. His distinctive voice and lively performances soon made him a name to reckon with in the Bhojpuri music industry. He has released many hit songs since then, some of them being "Murga Bechain Bate" and "Choliya Ke Huk Raja Ji," the latter becoming a huge hit in 2017.
Shifting focus to films, Kallu entered the field of acting in the Bhojpuri film industry through "Balma Biharwala 2" in 2016. Due to his innate acting talent and screen presence, he bagged acting assignments in a number of hit movies, including "Kallu Bada Satawela," "Kalua Crorepati," and "Sarkai Lo Khatiya Jada Lage." His performances have been appreciated, making him one of the range of actors who can sing and act.
