Shetty's professional journey began in 2012 when he worked with music director Arjun Janya as a lyricist and assistant music director for the film "Alemaari." This was the gateway to later collaboration on successful films like "Varadanayaka," "Power," "Chakravyuha," and "Bhajarangi." His skill to merge modern sounds with the classic Kannada music established him as a standout figure in the industry in no time.
In 2015, Shetty made his solo debut with the release of the Kannada single "Halagode," which went on to receive significant success and solidify his status as a solo artist. He built on the same strength with the following hits, such as "3 Peg," "Chocolate Girl," "Tequila," "Fire," and "Party Freak." Not only did these songs reinforce his versatility but also solidify his position as a prominent name in the field of Kannada pop music.
Outside his music, Shetty received wide recognition for having won the reality TV program "Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5." His warm demeanor on television endeared him to more viewers and broadened his fan base. Subsequent to this win, he worked as a judge in a string of reality TV shows, including "Master Dancer," "Kannada Kogile," and subsequent series, where he guided rising talents and assisted in the development of the Kannada music market.
Shetty's life outside of television also attracted media attention, specifically his romance with Niveditha Gowda, a contestant from "Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5." The couple's engagement on October 21, 2019, and their wedding on February 25, 2020, were both covered extensively in the media, adding to their celebrity status.
