Girish and The Chronicles (GATC) is a rock and metal band with high energy that was formed in 2009 in Gangtok, Sikkim. Now settled in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the band has shaken the Indian and international rock scene with their powerful vocals, electrifying guitar work, and high-octane live shows.
A Legacy of Rock & Metal
GATC has made its name as one of India's great rock bands, absorbing influences from the classic hard rock-and-heavy-metal legends. Their musical inspirations include Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, and AC/DC, among others, but their stamp of energetic originality combined with modernism is unmistakable. They ride that tide of melodic rock, soaring vocals, and shredding guitar solos, and they are terribly strong.

That was a remarkable achievement that sealed their name as one of India's finest rock exports, thus putting them on the international map.
