Indian Ocean is an Indian rock band that was formed in New Delhi in the early 1990s. The band is known for its fusion of Indian classical music with rock and jazz influences. The current lineup of Indian Ocean consists of Susmit Sen on guitars, Rahul Ram on bass guitar and vocals, Amit Kilam on drums and percussion, and Nikhil Rao on vocals.

Indian Ocean gained popularity in the Indian independent music scene with their self-titled debut album released in 1993. Their music is characterized by socially relevant lyrics and a unique sound that blends traditional Indian instruments like the sitar, tabla, and flute with contemporary rock elements.

Over the years, Indian Ocean has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Kandisa" (2000), "Jhini" (2003), "16/330 Khajoor Road" (2010), and "Tandanu" (2014). They have also composed music for films, including the soundtrack for the critically acclaimed movie "Black Friday" (2004).

Indian Ocean has gained a loyal fan base both in India and internationally. They are known for their energetic live performances and have performed at numerous music festivals and venues around the world. The band's unique blend of traditional and contemporary sounds has made them pioneers of the Indian fusion music genre.
