Established in 2004 by the Barooa brothers Siddharth and Amitabh, Lucid Recess is an eminent name in the alternative metal scene hailing from Assam. The band's entrance into the scene was made with a signature sound defined through melodious yet heavy soundscapes, in-depth lyrical introspection, and high-energy performance, making them a name amongst the most influential acts in Indian rock/metal music.
The Journey & Evolution
It started as a duo, Siddharth and Amitabh creating their own sound, with the death metal element added to the whole band in 2009 by drummer Partha Boro. That's when Lucid Recess transformed into a full-on power pack, electrifying the audiences by delivering high-intensity live performances as well as composing purely emotional, deep tracks.
