A decade and a half at the frontline of heavyweight club sonic. Constantly breaking boundaries of sound and inspiring a new generation of DJs, Manny has held a commanding presence over the underground dance music scene. His musical contributions to the foundation of underground music in Chennai and India has led to him becoming an industry icon in his home city and beyond. Also, the core of India’s favourite live electronica act BLANK, he is one of Chennai's most revered underground music exports.

Having earned his stripes as one of the most nationally prominent DJs of India, Manny is always ahead of the curve, constantly evolving and trying new ways to create and experience music. With a clear and urgent mission from the beginning of his highly decorated career, Manny aimed to push away the mediocre, the over hyped and the obsolete to bring to light his vision of the new and important. Certified Sound Engineer from SAE, Manny started off as one of the Co-founders and flagship DJs of 'Sound Faction’; a collective which helped push dance music at its infancy across India in 2003 to 2006. He then moved on to create ‘Cyfer’, India's first underground dance music podcast featuring exclusive work from the worlds top DJs back in 2006. He was also responsible for the ‘Cyfer Sessions’ across the south of India where underground heavyweights the likes of Jody Wisternoff, Jay Lumen, Martin Roth and more would tour India for the first time. 

Manny’s legendary residency at The Leather Bar, The Park Hotel from 2003-2013 was a game changer for the Chennai music scene. Having curated music for a decade and introducing the city to the most cutting edge underground and alternative music, Manny’s residency at the leather bar was nationally renowned.

His sets are extraordinarily varied, drawn to darkness but buoyed by the light ever ready to embrace new ideas and different perspectives on music. Manny has always been ahead of the curve. From his early days of Tech-Funk and Progressive House to his transition into Techno and later his shift to melodic and ethereal techno and electronica. Manny has been through a journey of different shades of music and brings it all together while continuously evolving everyday. With a firm grasp on the contemporary, Manny's sets turns his years of electronic music sensibility into one finely rendered journey, transforming the links between genres and ages into a cerebral, emotional and physical experience.

In 2010, Manny focused his artistic ambitions towards a new project which resulted in becoming India's. No.1 Pro DJ Act - BLANK was born. His role as a DJ in BLANK is a fine display of his natural musical capability and his signature sound. along with Skip and Nirupama, they steered it to success and BLANK continues to be one of India’s favourite Live acts.

In 2018 Manny collaborated with DJ/ producer Ajmal to produce a full length album on Submerge Music called 11:11 to much success. In March 2019 they showcased the album as India’s first ever classical electronic music showcase. Featuring a 6 piece string ensemble and other guest musicians. 11:11 LIVE was a fresh innovative approach and reimgination of the accalimed album into an unforgettable musical extravaganza to a live audience.
