One fine day, Rohit was playing "Lean On," and Eddy, listening closely in his own right, thought it was saying, "Marcus, find a gun. All we need is somebody to lean on." Doubting, he made Rohit play the song again; he just wouldn't accept having misunderstood. As fate would have it, this strange little muddle popped into their minds right when the band was getting ready to play their very-first show in Vizag (Visakhapatnam) and was still looking for a name. On a whim, they decided to go with "Marcus Find A Gun," and the name caught on.
From that day on, Marcus Find A Gun has grown into a madhouse of great music, known for its energy and the seamless mixing of covers and originals. They say a band can hardly be classified into a category, but with their much-needed fresh vibe, they inspire engagement in every venue they play.
