Nizami Bandhu, also known as the Nizami Brothers, is a renowned Qawwali group from Delhi, India. The band comprises four brothers: Chand Nizami, Shadab Faridi Nizami, Sohrab Faridi Nizami, and Nazim Faridi Nizami. They belong to a musical lineage that traces back several generations to their ancestors, who were court musicians in the Mughal era.
Qawwali is a form of devotional music rooted in Sufism, a mystical branch of Islam. The Nizami Bandhu has been carrying forward the rich tradition of Qawwali for many years.
