Hailing from the City of Lakes, PSYCH is a 6-piece alternative and hard rock band that has carved out its own little niche in the scene here in India. Known for their electrifying performances and a sound that sees raw energy reign perfectly with melodic intensity, PSYCH is a standout name in central India's rock community.
Since their formation, PSYCH has performed across many college festivals and music events, which left the audience mesmerized at their performances and excellent compositions. Their journey has composed some exciting moments as well, like winning competitions and sharing the stage with famous legends. At TARANG, the much-reputed culture fest of IIITDM, PSYCH triumphed and also got the privilege of opening for the prominent Indian band AGNEE. Their performances at OVERDRIVE and ROCKENFIELD, two of the biggest rock concerts in central India, only added to their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.
PSYCH's popularity continued to rise with MTV Junkyard, where they performed at three different colleges across Bhopal, reaching out to new people and increasing their fan base. The band's talent is complemented by the individual brilliance of its members, especially the drummer, who has won MTV India Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds. His win gave him a chance to be mentored by the iconic blues-rock band Soulmate.
During their concert, Under Soulmate's mentorship, the drummer for PSYCH showcased their prowess at some major platforms, performing along with them in Hard Rock Café Bangalore and Hard Rock Café Mumbai. Their concert went live on MTV Indies, further confirming their stronghold at Indian rock circuits.
A passionate musician in making music that goes deep in listeners' souls, PSYCH continues to set boundaries for delivering unforgettable live performances and sharpening their skills. As this Bhopal band moves upward, it keeps working hard at redefining the way alternative and hard rock will sound in India with every strong performance.
