Rhythm Dhol Bass (RDB) becomes one of the legendary pillars in the global music panorama, one of the most influential South Asian music producers, musicians, singers, and entertainers of the world. Established in 2000 by three Punjabi Sikh brothers—Kuly, Manj, and Surj—the group was deeply influenced by their father, who brought them up listening to religious music played on harmonium, enabling them to learn classical singing in Gurdwara.
The Evolutionary Journey of RDB
RDB was born with the intention of marrying the traditional Punjabi and South Asian sounds to modern global music genres, thus pioneering its own sound, now popularly known as the "RDB Sound.". The defying fusion in music comprises Bhangra with hip-hop, electronic beats, and urban sounds—an outright revolution in the industry.
SurjRDB now keeps the flame alive, leading the RDB legacy with Kuly's unfortunate demise in the year 2012 and Manj's flight following the calling of a solo career in 2014 without an end to high-octane performances and chart-topping compositions.
