Flautist from Mumbai, Rakesh Chaurasia, is one of the Indian classical musicians who are known for their exceptional skill on the bamboo flute. Born into a musical family, he is the nephew of the legendary flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia, whose early training had a great influence on him. Rakesh has blended traditional Indian music with modern elements, making him a very popular name both in the world of classical and fusion music.
