Sanjay Khatri is a native of New Delhi and was born in 1987. He is the first-ever male ballet dancer from India who gained international fame. His main journey begins when he learned about different sorts of dancing in rigorous form at an early age and finally found his love for ballet.

Sanjay's interest propelled him to seek formal ballet training. Since the traditional conventional ballet is less represented in India, especially with regard to male performances, Sanjay came across both classical and contemporary ballet styles, which helped him fashion a style where technical precision meets expressive movement.
