Siddharth Mahadevan is a gifted Indian playback singer and music composer who has a robust voice and a modern musical sense. He is the son of famous singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan, and he has managed to establish his own identity in the music industry while continuing the musical legacy of his family.
Growing up in a family where music was deeply ingrained, Siddharth was exposed to music from an early age. His early training in music and experience working in multiple genres gave him a very dynamic singing style. He started working as a playback singer with the track "Zinda" of the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013. The track proved to be a hit overnight and displayed his capabilities in singing fast-paced, emotion-packed tracks. His contribution to this track earned him immense fame and initiated his entry into the Indian music industry as a new talent.
After establishing himself with the blockbuster debut, Siddharth continued to serve a number of hits, one of which includes "Malang" from Dhoom 3, further entrenching him into Bollywood. His voice contains raw energy and power, giving him a priority position for all the songs that need passion and ferocity.
In addition to playback singing, Siddharth is also a music composer. He has worked with his father and cousin Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, who are a part of the legendary music trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, on several musical initiatives.
